Orthopaedic Education & Foundation

Education

The surgeons at the Vancouver Upper Limb Centre have had extensive involvement in orthopaedic education through the University of British Columbia. Dr. Goetz founded the SPH Upper Extremity Research Program and UBC Upper Extremity Resident and Fellowship Training Program at St. Paul's Hospital. The surgeons at VULC are heavily involved in the development of research, rotations and teaching rounds at St. Paul's Hospital. The surgeons are committed to orthopaedic education and Dr. Goetz has been honored with the UBC Orthopaedic Resident Teaching Award (2007).

The St. Paul's Upper Extremity Fellowship training program accepts fellows from around the world for sub-specialty training in upper extremity surgery.
